Nature is below us, around us and above us. Let’s explore it! We will meet live animals, create a nature themed craft, read a nature story, and go on a destination hike. From salamanders under our feet, to plants in the prairie and birds in the woods, get ready to experience it all. Dress to be outside and to get dirty!

Be a C.S.I. agent and solve the mysteries taking place in the woods and pond at Quarry Hill. Learn to identify skulls, tracks, and other signs to uncover the unknown! Dress to be outside and to get dirty!

Join Quarry Hill staff to explore the great outdoors with camera in hand – searching to capture the essence of all things spring and learning to see nature in a whole new way! Quarry Hill will provide the digital cameras and laptops for editing photos. Students will also be able to store photos on their own, Quarry Hill provided 4GB flash drive in order to take them home.
