VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are an integral part of Quarry Hill Nature Center, helping not only to support the staff, the park, and the wildlife, but also helping us achieve our mission of “Opening eyes and minds through natural science discovery.” With more than 300 volunteers collectively logging over 3000 hours of time annually, there is something for everyone.
Consider how you can share your enthusiasm and appreciation of the environment with us in one of the following areas:

INVASIVE PLANT REMOVAL
Weed Warrior Volunteers, a nationwide grass roots movement, is dedicated to removing invasive plant species from public lands and restoring the native plant communities vital to supporting a rich and diverse habitat for all living things. Our regional parks rely on volunteers to make a difference.

STUDENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
If you would like to complete hours required for classes or service clubs, we have several opportunities for you and/or your group. Projects depend on the time of year and weather. Be prepared to work outside and get dirty! To make arrangements to volunteer, please contact Jill Danielsen, volunteer coordinator, Monday - Friday.

HOW DO I BECOME A VOLUNTEER?
